2004 Dealer of the year awards
CSE Equipment of Cape Town in South Africa is the Ransomes Jacobsen Distributor of the Year for 2004.
Ransomes Jacobsen dealers from across the globe attended the ceremony held at a Gala Dinner during the recent BTME conference and exhibition in Harrogate. The silver trophy and commemorative plaque was presented to CSE's Peter Askew by David Withers, Ransomes Jacobsen's Managing Director.
Speaking at the Gala Dinner David Withers commented, "The Distributor of the Year award recognises outstanding performance in all sectors of the business including service, parts, sales and marketing. CSE have demonstrated outstanding performance across all market sectors and product ranges and have also shown tremendous commitment to Ransomes Jacobsen. They conducted a wide ranging and detailed analysis of the South African turf industry and produced a focused sales plan that resulted in several prestigious conquest accounts from our major competitors. In addition, they are a company with a fantastic team of people who are a delight to work with; they thoroughly deserve the title of Ransomes Jacobsen Distributor of the Year."
This premier award crowned an exceptional evening for CSE as they also received two further awards: the first for International Turf Distributor of the Year; and the second a special award for 10 years service to the groundscare industry.
TH White Ltd, the Tetbury based dealer with further depots in Reading and Redditch won two awards, UK Industrial Products Dealer of the Year and UK Turf Dealer of the Year.
It was also a good evening for Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd. They received two accolades: the ING Award for Finance and UK Service Dealer of the Year. The Service award was a break from tradition as it is normally presented to a dealer group. However, this year the award went to Doe's Esher branch, for their exceptional levels of service and customer care throughout 2004. Branch Manager Phil Bush collected the award.
