Railway Maintenance
A contract worker was strimming the grass along the edge of a railway line as a train was approaching. When he finally heard it coming he dropped the strimmer and ran down the lines as fast as he could. The next thing he knew, he was lying in a hospital bed. The nurse asked him "why didn't you just run up the grass bank to safety? He replied, "what chance did I have of out running the train up a bank if I couldn't on level ground"
