RANSOMES JACOBSEN DISTRIBUTOR FOR INDIA
By Helen Windsor
Gary Ford has been appointed Regional Sales and Customer Support Manager for Proturf International Est., the Ransomes Jacobsen distributor
Gary will be based at Head Office in Dubai, UAE and has a wealth of experience in both the sales and service of equipment from within the Golf and Turf industry, having worked previously with CSE in South Africa and more recently with Hydroturf, a Toro and Club Car distributor in Dubai.
Riaz Parkar, Managing Director of Proturf International said, "Gary will play a key role in promoting turf machinery and utility vehicles in the south east Asian region. His appointment reflects our increased commitment to support the Ransomes Jacobsen and EZGO business in our territory. His knowledge of the Ransomes Jacobsen products from his time with CSE and the industry in general together with his understanding of the business culture in this part of the globe will, I am sure, prove beneficial to both the manufacturers and ourselves."
Gary (29) lives in Dubai with his wife Donna, who is expecting their first child in May. In his spare time he enjoys playing cricket, rugby and dune driving in the deserts of the UAE.Read more articles in Industry, by Editor or from April 2003.
