By Editor
Sudbury based AFT Trenchers Ltd. have appointed James Lane, 28, as their Sales and Marketing Manager.
Based at the company's Suffolk premises, James will handle enquiries and sales for the ever expanding range of trenching and drainage equipment offered by AFT to the agricultural, sports turf and civil engineering markets.
With experience in sales both for a major agricultural machinery manufacturer and a specialist tyre and wheel company, plus time as a journalist, James will be providing AFT with a broad knowledge of advertising and media coverage to promote the company's machines globally. He will also have responsibility for PR activity and website development.
"I'm looking forward to working in an industry that is new to me, and I have aspirations to increase AFT's presence and develop sales throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide" commented James.
James studied Agricultural Engineering at Writtle College, Chelmsford and lives near Colchester, Essex. He plays hockey for Colchester Hockey Club in his spare time and is the club's social secretary and press officer.Read more articles in General News, by Editor or from November 2005.
