"Sudden Oak Death" - Phytophthora ramorum

There has been a lot of recent news about Sudden Oak Death in the national press, with DEFRA inspectors finding a small number of disease outbreaks in garden centres and nurseries. Positive findings have been made in rhododendron, vibernum and other exotic shrubs. The infected plants have been destroyed and none of the batches from which they came has been sold.
