Friday 23rd June 2006 - Surrey. - Bio-tech solutions company Symbio have pulled off something of a recruitment coup by bringing KEVIN MUNT back to the Turfgrass industry as their SALES MANAGER. With a 25year history in golf maintenance, development and operations Kevin's past employers have included industry luminaries Royal Dornoch Golf Club, The Wentworth Club, John Jacobs Golf Associates, Kajima (UK) Engineering and Buckinghamshire Golf Club. In 1985 Kevin was a member of the steering committee for the formation of the BIGGA so the man 'has history' as they say.
His recent history includes five years sales management in the corporate arena providing Audio Visual communication solutions. Munt comment "I have been considering a return to the golf course maintenance industry but wanted to ensure that it was with a company that worked in support of greenkeepers and sustainable course management practices. Symbio meets those criteria and I am looking forward to helping them aid the movement to greater sustainable golf in the UK and Europe. "
Symbio MD Martin Ward commented "I am delighted that Kevin has joined us, his wealth of sports turf management and construction expertise adds greatly to the consultative approach that we offer our customers". Ward went on to say " This is a key stage in developing Symbio's ability to help our customers environmentally sustainable turf management"
Kevin's future will involve developing working relationships with Course Managers, Turfgrass Consultants, Golf Architects and Constructors operating in the UK and mainland Europe.
