Best of Both Worlds
Seminar & Demonstration Days - July 2006
Six major companies have joined together to present two days of working demonstrations and seminar presentations to advise on creating and maintaining both natural and synthetic turf playing surfaces.
Keynote speakers are Martyn Jones "Achieving Effective Soil Aeration" and David Rhodes "Planning & Maintaining Synthetic Sports Surfaces" - both of whom can be relied upon for interesting and thought provoking presentations.
Other topics will include "Turfgrass Nutrition"; "Choosing the Right Grass Cultivars and Mixtures"; "Guidelines for Selecting Top Dressings and Rootzones". An unmissable opportunity for all turf professionals, particularly those maintaining school sports grounds, cricket grounds, soccer, rugby and hockey pitches, and amenity turf.
The first "Best of Both Worlds" Seminar & Demonstration Day is at Worksop College, Notts on 6th July and the second at The Graham Sports Centre, University of Durham on 11th July.
There is no charge for attendance and a light lunch will be provided. However numbers at each venue are limited so you need to book a place. Please phone SISIS on 01625 503030 or e-mail to publicity@sisis.com for full details and a booking form.
Sponsoring companies are:
British Seed Houses, Scotts, SIS Group, SISIS EQUIPMENT LTD., TYM Tractors, WBB Minerals.
Further "BEST OF BOTH WORLDS" events will take place in the South of England on 19th, 20th and 21st September. More details to follow.
