Many Sports clubs hold bonfire events to raise much needed revenue for the club however, it is important you follow appropiate guidelines to ensure a safe event .

This information is intended for those organisers who are mounting firework displays or organising bonfires for the general public. It contains important information about your responsibilities to the public and the staff involved. Remember that safety is the key to having a safe and successful November the 5th.

And in a weeks time when you notice strange marks and the posts on disease identification increase from what may actually be chemical deposit 'burns' from firework fallout especially on newly renovated cricket squares, 18th or putting greens, you may wish to be more involved in the siting of more than the fire next year.......

Your not kidding there Barry,

At our place after weddings we have all sorts of weird and wonderfull markings for ident especially on our tennis courts.
Let alone the job of debris and stick removal. But hey ho it all helps pay the bills.
