BSH appoints new technical advisor for the South West

British Seed Houses has appointed Joe Hendy as technical sales advisor for the South West of England and South Wales.

National sales development manager Bob Scott covered the area previously. Joe's appointment will enable Bob to cover the South East more intensively as well as servicing national accounts.

Joe joined BSH in 1997 as a trainee seed analyst. Within four years he'd become qualified in all the major crops as an analyst and crop inspector. He was then promoted into sales, where he has been able to apply his practical knowledge in a customer service role, more recently in the amenity sector.

Amenity development director Simon Taylor commented: "Joe's appointment reaffirms the company's commitment to delivering excellent customer service and will enhance the technical sales support available to our customers in the South."
