Graden scarifier proves its worth

Groundsmen at Bradford’s premier cricket ground have made good use of their Graden scarifier.Chris Cay, co-Groundsman at Park Avenue, which is the headquarters of the Bradford-Leeds Universities Centre of Excellence, said: “We have a Graden scarifier, which can go down to a maximum depth of 50mm.

Rain and drainage problems have played havoc with the cricket programme at Sedbergh School.
Sedbergh, set in south Cumbria within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, is one of the leading public schools in the north.

Saltaire is a Victorian industrial village near Shipley in West Yorkshire's Bronte Country. As a World Heritage site the village receives protection from development and modern day influences which may damage the character of the area. Not the case, unfortunately, for the local cricket club.
