Ben Burgess Garden Equipment of Norwich are an established Groundscare dealer covering Norfolk and North Suffolk and are one of the largest and longest standing John Deere dealers in the U.K. As an existing dealer for both Mantis and the Little Wonder range of hedgetrimmers, their network profile has been raised further by the recent appointment as authorised dealers for the Classen range of Turfcare products.
Natural synergy
Nigel Mills is Commercial Manager (Groundscare) at Ben Burgess and emphasised the reasoning behind this development. 'The addition of this
extensive range of Classen Turfare equipment is an ideal fit to the current range of products within the Ben Burgess profile. There is a natural synergy between this powerful range of equipment and our core client base.' Their recent Dealership Open Day co-incided with this announcement and provided the opportunity to launch the Classen product range to the professional sector. This included Rakes, Aerators and Sod Cutters. These drew much interest from local authority visitors and golf course managers.
Premier pitch challenge
The Open Day was held at the impressive Norwich City Training Ground in Hethersett, just outside Norwich. Gary Kemp is Head Groundsman for both the training ground and Carrow Road. His recent challenge was to re-seed the first team pitch after a series of concerts and events in time for the clubs' new season in the Premier League, which he has achieved with great success.
Ben Burgess Garden Equipment are an existing Mantis UK dealer and this product extension to their formidable profile across Norfolk and North Suffolk can only benefit both parties in the future.
