Following on from the announcement of the Groundsman of the Year award for the three SNCL divisional winners, and overall outright winner, it has been decided to recognise the efforts of the Groundsmen at the four Scottish ODI grounds. If the Scottish weather can make life difficult for a Club Groundsman, then when a Scotland home match is involved, the difficulty of the task can be magnified.
All four Scotland ODI grounds (Aberdeen (below), Ayr, Clydesdale (above) and Grange (left) in the last few years have suffered from spells of savage weather conditions when hosting matches on behalf of Cricket Scotland.
