Ransomes Jacobsen France, one of Europe's leading distributors of turf maintenance equipment, presented a preview of their new 2010 product range with a traditional demonstration day at the prestigious Paris International Golf Club at Baillet-en-France.
A large number of greenkeepers and landscape contractors attended the event, where the main focus was the European preview of the new hybrid greens mower from Jacobsen, the Eclipse 322. The revolutionary hybrid system which powers this new machine, as well as its numerous other innovative features, impressed the mowing specialists present, who also took advantage of the opportunity to test drive the mower and to put relevant questions to Richard Comely, the Product Manager based at the UK headquarters and responsible for the mower's development in Europe.
After a welcoming aperitif in the Paris International's sumptuous clubhouse, the guests had the pleasure of exploring one of the most attractive golf courses in the Paris region at the wheel of the latest golf car from EZGO, the RXV.
The open air demonstrations were complemented by a workshop session, where guests could scrutinise all of the latest products and better understand the features and benefits highlighted during the day.
Laurent Proupin, Directeur-General of Ransomes Jacobsen France, was delighted with the growing reputation of the demonstration day, which this year attracted over 400 visitors. Commenting on the event, he said, "This day was very important for us as we have been able to confirm that the Eclipse 322 was in perfect harmony with the needs of the French market. More than 200 persons have tested the new machine and we have received no negative feedback during these tests. I am looking forward to delivering the first machines which have already been sold to some of the most prestigious golf course in France, when they arrive from the Jacobsen factory in the USA, early in the New Year."
