Following their Cricket seminar at Uxbridge Cricket Club earlier this year, Dennis and Sisis are once again offering cricket groundsmen the opportunity to attend this successful seminar. The venue this time is Essex County Cricket Club in Chelmsford and the date is Tuesday 22nd November 2011, commencing at 9.00am.
The programme covers the role of a groundsman preparing local club/school pitches, through to 1st class county venues, combining expert practical tips with an informal discussion with industry experts. However, this seminar now extends into the evening, inclusive of a floodlit tour of the ground.
The impressive array of speakers includes Stuart Kerrison (Essex County CC), Chris Wood (ECB), Vic Demain (Uxbridge CC), Keith Exton (Glamorgan CCC), Andy Mackay (Sussex CCC) and Robert Gunary.
In the evening Chris Wood will speak about the 'Role of the Pitch Advisor' followed by Graham Pryke (Essex/ECB) on 'The Role of the Cricket Development Officer'. Andy Pierson of Kent CCC will join the panel for an evening discussion on 'Drill & Fill'.
Delegates can attend the seminar by choosing just the day programme; just the evening programme, or both. To register for this free and informative seminar, contact Roger Moore at Dennis on 01332 824777 or by email roger.moore@dennisuk.com.
