Following their Cricket seminar at Uxbridge Cricket Club earlier this year, Dennis and Sisis are once again offering cricket groundsmen the opportunity to attend this successful seminar. The venue this time is Essex County Cricket Club in Chelmsford and the date is Tuesday 22nd November 2011, commencing at 9.00am.

The programme covers the role of a groundsman preparing local club/school pitches, through to 1st class county venues, combining expert practical tips with an informal discussion with industry experts. However, this seminar now extends into the evening, inclusive of a floodlit tour of the ground.

The impressive array of speakers includes Stuart Kerrison (Essex County CC), Chris Wood (ECB), Vic Demain (Uxbridge CC), Keith Exton (Glamorgan CCC), Andy Mackay (Sussex CCC) and Robert Gunary.

In the evening Chris Wood will speak about the 'Role of the Pitch Advisor' followed by Graham Pryke (Essex/ECB) on 'The Role of the Cricket Development Officer'. Andy Pierson of Kent CCC will join the panel for an evening discussion on 'Drill & Fill'.

Delegates can attend the seminar by choosing just the day programme; just the evening programme, or both. To register for this free and informative seminar, contact Roger Moore at Dennis on 01332 824777 or by email roger.moore@dennisuk.com.

These events have been in the planning stage for some time, now we are out there "taking Uxbrige to the people". A great programme, quality presenters, first-class venue and all backed by the top company Dennis/Sisis.
This event is going to fly, get in quick to avoid disappointment, don't expect to turn up on the day.
The first of a few this Winter, which hopefully will include the biggest groundsmens event in March, where we can really start to take our profile beyond that of the grasscutter.
Don't be sorry, be a part of the future.

Excellent line up, Vic - would love to be able to attend, but will have to miss out on this one unfortunately. Best of luck to all involved though, and keep up the good work!

Yes have to agree, glad you got this up and running vic, credit to you, fellow speakers and the backers getting behind you on this, well done.

I enjoyed the last one at your place. Some good speakers and another excellent line up for this year. Sadly, i can't make this one but would recommend this to all levels of cricket groundsmanship.

Vic keep us posted on the other events?

Good luck

Andy.

Grow in grace...........

Thanks guys but nothing to do with me, this one is all Stuart's. I sit on the planning committee with Dennis/Sisis memebers and cricketworld.com, we outline where we want to go but the content is very much down to the host groundsman.
There will be more this winter and maybe even one close to you guys.
