Drought Stricken Golf Club selects Course Care Washpad Water Recycling System

Press Release

Woodcote Park golf club has been hit by a drought order along with others in southeast England. The club takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and has invested in a Course Care ClearWater washpad recycling system, a road tanker and extra water storage tanks. The club was featured recently on BBC TV news; "How golf courses will cope with the drought order".

Secretary Adrian Dawson explained that water needed for the course is being brought in from an approved grey water source using the tanker. The washpad area was not a concern however as the Course Care ClearWater system recycles water and can be used throughout the Drought Order to provide effective wash-off for all the greens machinery.

Course Care's David Mears commented; "We were delighted to be included in the TV news feature. Our ClearWater systems are ideal for clubs wishing to conserve water and particularly those in the drought areas."
