Contractors and commercial end users in grounds maintenance who are in search of a versatile, small trailer that tackles a wide variety of jobs need look no further than Etesia's new MRM Multi-Purpose Trailer.

Now in stock in time for the 2010 season, the MRM Multi-Purpose Trailer is lightweight and highly manoeuvrable. It can be either simply pulled as a wheelbarrow by hand or trailed behind a ride-on lawnmower, atv or tractor - this makes it ideal for transporting soil, paving slabs, compost, and other heavy materials. Perhaps its most important (and unique) feature is that the skip's outer-body is double-skinned, forming a tank with the capacity to transport up to 85 litres of water or other liquids. This is especially useful when working on remote sites where a tap or hose are not nearby. One example is - when renewing or repairing fencing, the posts, sand and cement are easily transported in the trailer whilst the water for mixing the mortar is on hand in the unit's reservoir. An optional lance and spray-head are available for watering plants, washing down surfaces, vehicles and many other uses, and the MRM trailer's tank is filled via a standard hose.

The trailer incorporates a rack to carry tools such as rakes, brooms, shovels or other long-handled implements. A foot-controlled rear-tipper enables the skip's contents to be easily deposited onto the ground. Both a tow bar and handlebar are fitted and turf tyres provide ease-of-movement as well as preventing scuffing on grassed areas.

To increase the 180 litre capacity of the skip, it has dual-purpose side-extension panels:- when raised to their full height they increase the load capability to a huge 400 litres. But their alternative function is that they can fold horizontally over the skip to form a flat-bed for carrying, say, trays of seedlings; or become a work bench for jobs such as potting up plants, without the back-aching need to bend. Its length is 1.5m and width 88cm, so the trailer will pass through most standard gateways. These dimensions make it highly suitable for transporting in a truck or trailer.

Priced at a low £745.00 plus VAT, Etesia's MRM Multi-Purpose Trailer is a little workhorse which can turn its hand to a wide number of uses, making it a 'must' for anybody involved in grounds maintenance.
