A selection of proven pedestrian mowers suitable for maintaining fine turf surfaces, sports grounds and ornamental grass will be featured on the Allett Mowers stand at BTME 2008.

Designed for golf greens, bowling greens and cricket wickets, the fine-cut Shaver and Tournament mowers are offered in 20in and 24in widths, both Tournament models being equipped as standard with a multi-bladed grooming reel.

Ideal for mowing grass on schedules ranging typically from seven to 21 days, Allett's rugged Buffalo mower can be had in cutting widths of 20in, 24in and 27in to suit the area, the location and its accessibility. The Buffalo is available in roller and wheel-drive versions.

Those looking after sportsgrounds will be hard-pushed to better the 36in and 42in Allett Regal, long-established at Test Match venues and top football stadiums due to its exceptional workrate and standard of finish.

Available in 20in, 24in and 34in versions, the Allett C-Range is appreciated for its multi-functional abilities, achieved by means of interchangeable cassette heads capable of mowing, scarifying, grooming, verti-cutting, aerating or brushing.

Also being shown by Allett is the tractor-mounted BJB42 scarifier designed for fast, effective renovation of larger turf areas. Working to a maximum depth of 50mm, this machine collects scarified material as it goes.
