Grand Designs

A garden designer with ideas for creating open spaces which people will want to enjoy recently contacted the Artificial Lawn Company when choosing an artificial lawn to be used for the Urban Jungle garden at the Cityscape exhibition in London.

The Urban Jungle was used as a central feature at the exhibition. Designed and created by David Fountain; who has gained 2 RHS Gold Medals and best in shows at Chelsea and Tatton, the garden is the ultimate in outdoor spaces demonstrating the exotic and exciting possibilities of future streetscapes.

David requested the new 'Luxury Lawn' Product from the Artificial Lawn Company because it's the most realistic artificial lawn on the market. Aimed at people with no or little time to spend gardening, it is much better to lay an artificial lawn than pave over / concrete their gardens because artificial lawn is permeable to rain and allows the water to soak into the soil and thus not causing water-logged patio areas.

David Fountain of David Fountain Designs says: ' Due to climate change and the increased availability of materials and plants, we are now able to use a wider spectrum of products including artificial lawns to create more exotic and exciting streetscapes'.
