GREENFACTORY RELEASE ONLINE TINE TOOL

GreenFactory Productions has released an online tine tool to help Greenkeepers specify aeration jobs. The tool lets the Greenkeeper specify the size and the spacing of tines, and produces a list of calculations, and even a visual graphic for the aeration task.
Available from the Pitchcare shop, the online tine tool moves some technology from GreenFactory GrassWorks software application onto the internet. GrassWorks is a unique tool for handling the mathematics behind a Greenkeeper's job. This gives the Greenkeeper confidence and knowledge that what he is doing is correct and optimal. The online tine tool calculates how much soil is removed and the percentage of the area the tine job is covering. It also calculates the number of passes required to achieve a certain coverage.
Derek Marriott, from GreenFactory Productions said, "It is good to get parts of our GrassWorks application onto the internet. The online tine tool uses the advanced measurement system built into Grass-Works to perform calculations in imperial or metric units. The tool also reaffirms GreenFactory's commitment to producing quality software for solving real greenkeeping problems."
GreenFactory Productions work with a range of consultants to bring state of the art technology to Greenkeepers. The GrassWorks amenity management product has won an award from the UK Government Department of Trade and Industry for innovation.
GreenFactory Productions was formed in 2001 and specialises in the research and development of software management applications for Greenkeepers and Groundsmen.
