Imants GreenWave (2)Campey Turf Care Systems is always looking for new ideas or new applications of existing concepts.

The Imants GreenWave exhibited for the first time at Saltex, takes the tried and tested 'Shockwave' principal and applies it in a moderated form to fine-turf playing surfaces such as greens, tees and bowling greens. It has been adapted and designed specifically to tackle compaction in fine turf areas where minimum disruption is essential.

A small, lightweight, tractor-mounted linear decompactor, the Imants GreenWave is ideal for compact tractors from 24-30hp to relieve compaction to a depth of 150mm, using 8mm thick, forged steel blades. It will shatter the sub-surface compaction with little if any disruption to the playing surface and requires no additional clean-up after operation.

It operates a working width of 120cm at a depth of 150mm and weighs no more than 395kg.

Campey Turf Care Systems is one of Europe's largest independent grounds care machinery suppliers, and this year celebrates providing specialist equipment for turf professionals for 25 years, over the years Campeys have earned a reputation for offering practical advice and superb aftercare service.

The company acts as a new equipment dealer for some of the most respected grounds care machinery manufacturers including Dakota, Imants, Koro, Raycam, Vredo and Omarv.

The company also has a thriving used machinery business and a subsidiary company, Tines Direct, which supplies replacement tines, blades and replacement parts for a wide range of turf care machinery.
