High specification tractors suitable for maintaining larger gardens and estates, amenity areas and sports turf will be the focus of Massey Ferguson's exhibit at the forthcoming What Kit? Live event, taking place at Reaseheath College, Nantwich, Cheshire on 4 July.

Although it may be the least powerful MF tractor model on show, the 22.5hp GC2300 packs a powerful punch within a low weight, very compact and highly manoeuvrable package making it ideal for a wide range of estate and larger garden duties.

Key points of the GC2300 are its selectable four-wheel drive system, two-range hydrostatic transmission, hydrostatic power steering, independent mid (2,000rpm) and rear (540rpm) PTOs, wet disc brakes and Cat 1 three-point linkage with a lift capacity of 500kg at the ball-ends.

The GC2300 will be shown at What Kit? Live with a side-discharge mid mower deck.

Accompanying the GC2300 on the exhibit will be two examples from Massey Ferguson's highly successful 1500 Series, now proving the number one compact tractor choice of an increasing number of professional users in the UK and Ireland.

Comprising six manual and six hydrostatic transmission models from 19.5hp to 46hp, the 1500 Series combines low weight, compact dimensions and rugged build quality to produce a range of highly versatile tractors suitable for a wide variety of grounds care, amenity and landscaping applications.

The two models on show at What Kit? Live will be the 28hp MF1528 with hydrostatic transmission and rear-discharge mid mower deck and the current top-of-the-range 46hp MF1547 with air-conditioned cab and Dyna-QPS transmission, the latter incorporating Power Shift and Power Shuttle functions within a 12 forward/12 reverse mechanical gearbox with creep speeds.

Sales and technical staff will be on-hand at Massey Ferguson's What Kit? Live exhibit to provide visitors with advice and assistance on the entire MF grounds care product line-up and the suitability of individual models for specific applications.
