John Deere Credit has announced a new interest free finance programme for the John Deere 8700 PrecisionCut fairway mower.
Anyone ordering a new 8700 mower from John Deere dealers in the UK and Ireland from now up until 31 August 2011 may defer the first of two annual payments until January 2012, at zero per cent interest.
The amount financed is limited to 60 per cent of the maximum recommended retail list price of the mower, which starts at around £42,200 for the base specification machine in the UK (€49,096 in Ireland). As usual, other credit profiles are available on request, and the availability of finance is subject to status and to terms and conditions - further details are available from John Deere dealers or on the company's website at www.JohnDeereCredit.co.uk
The 43hp, four-wheel drive 8700 lightweight fairway mower features John Deere's award winning Quick Adjust QA7 56cm (22in) cutting cylinders, with 178mm (7in) diameter eight-blade reels. The patented SpeedLink system provides rapid height of cut adjustment from either side of the cutting units.
Other standard features on this mower include a ROPS frame, deluxe suspension seat and seat belt, a work light kit for early morning and late evening mowing, and a patented, adjustable hydraulic down pressure system for ultimate control of cut quality.
Fairway tender conditioners (FTCs) and rear roller power brushes are also optionally available. The FTC stands the grass up prior to cutting and improves the dispersal of grass clippings, especially in early morning, dewy conditions, while the rear roller power brush keeps the roller clean, while also maintaining a consistent height of cut.
