John Deere's 2009 Golf Roadshow is drawing the crowds, as well as favourable comments from greenkeepers and groundsmen. So says turf equipment product marketing manager Henry Bredin, who is pictured (A) presenting at one of the product stations when the tour visited Thornhurst Manor Golf Club in south Yorkshire on September 30th.
The theme of the tour, which continues through to the middle of October, is precision and productivity. This is reflected in demonstrations of the company's new Quick Adjust cutting units, mowers and turf sprayer, and the increasingly popular irrigation range for precision water management on golf courses and other sports and amenity turf areas.
"Customers and visitors have been saying they appreciate the mix of well organised, informative product presentations and the opportunity to drive and assess the new equipment in working conditions," says Henry Bredin. "We are looking forward to the rest of the tour going as well as it has done so far."
