John O'Conner 40 Year Celebrations are a Real 'Knock Out'
It's a Knock- Out' was the main attraction at Hertfordshire based John O'Conner (Grounds Maintenance) Limited's 40 year celebrations.
A family fun day was organised by the company to mark John O'Conner's momentous achievement the event was held in a local sports field near their head offices in Welwyn on Saturday 5th September.
Over 400 visitors attended the event including employees from the companies past, customers past and present, major suppliers including JCB, John Deere tractors, Hayters and Ransomes, existing staff, and their families.
The event was opened by North Hertfordshire Councillor Lynda Needham; Portfolio holder for Waste Recycling & the Environment who commented 'It's a pleasure to be invited here for what is a fantastic achievement by John and his company.'
Visitors were able to enjoy fairground rides, bouncy slides, music, children's entertainers, BBQ and hog roasts, clowns or take part in 'It's a Knock-Out' based on the hit TV show from the 70's and 80's. John O'Conner said 'The It's a Knock Out team really brought the event to life but for me it was so nice to be able to catch up with everyone that has played their part in helping me and the company over the last 40 years.'
