Keith Kent workshops at Broadstreet and Moseley
* Twickenham head groundsman in Midlands
* Ross Baxter to offer pitch funding advice
Keith Kent, the Twickenham Stadium head groundsman, will be bringing his popular series of pitch maintenance workshops to Moseley's Billesley Common ground on March 22 (7pm) and Broadstreet RFC near Coventry on March 23 (7pm).
'An Evening with Keith Kent' will be staged at Billesley Common and the Binley Woods ground and will focus on end-of-season renovations and maintenance for rugby and football pitches.
The sessions are free of charge and include a workshop with Ross Baxter, the RFU Funding and Facilities Manager for the Midlands, on funding pitch improvement projects.
Kent has been in charge of the hallowed surface at Twickenham, the Home of England Rugby, since September 2002. He previously spent 15 years at Old Trafford as head groundsman for Manchester United, following on from 17 years working at Leicester City FC.
He will be joined by Dave Saltman, director of Pitchcare.com and a Football Association Premiership head groundsman.
Places at the Moseley session can be booked by contacting Adam Caves via email or telephone on 0121 443 3631.
Places at the Broadstreet session can be booked by contacting Charlie McGinty via email or telephone on 07801 869730.
