Kubota appoints new agricultural dealer for Herefordshire and Worcestershire

Kubota has further strengthened its UK dealer network with the appointment of Pallisers of Hereford as an official agricultural sales and service dealer for Herefordshire, Worcestershire and parts of the neighbouring counties of Gloucestershire, Shropshire and Powys.

The company takes on responsibility for product demonstrations and the provision of technical, service and parts support for Kubota's mid-range and higher horsepower L Series and M Series tractors and the RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle.

Kubota's L Series and M Series tractors encompass 10 four-wheel drive models from 32hp to 105hp suitable for farming, horticultural, landscaping and groundcare applications.

Designed for all-terrain load and personnel movement, the RTV900 utility vehicle has a 22hp Kubota diesel engine and a unique three-range variable hydrostatic transmission that delivers superb hill climbing ability. Dynamic braking ensures safe, controlled hill starts and descents without having to use the vehicle's brakes.

Based at Acorn Park, Yarkhill, near Hereford, Pallisers of Hereford was founded in 1993 by husband and wife, David and Anna Palliser. A branch was opened at Mere Green, Hanbury, near Droitwich in 1998. Together, the two operations have a total of 30 staff with major emphasis placed on the provision of first-class after-sales service and parts support for all customers.

"There is a wealth of experience and technical know-how within our sales and after-sales departments," commented managing director, David Palliser. "This experience will be invaluable to past, present and future Kubota users as we strive to build the business among customers in the public and private sectors throughout Herefordshire, Worcestershire and neighbouring areas."

Mr Palliser pointed out that potential Kubota customers will have the opportunity to view Kubota products and get a flavour of the company's commitment to service at two special open days to be staged in early May.

The first will take place on Wednesday 3 May at Pallisers' Droitwich branch to be followed two days later by a second open day on Friday 5 May to be held at the Yarkhill, Hereford head office. Both events will run from 10am until 9pm with refreshments available throughout the day. Kubota staff will be in attendance during both days to provide sales and technical assistance to customers.
