Kubota to preview new tractor and two new front mowers at BTME 2006

By David Roberts

Kubota will be using BTME 2006 to debut a new 32hp manual gearbox compact tractor and two new high performance diesel ride-on front mowers.

Also on show at Harrogate will be representative examples from Kubota's 22-strong tractor line-up from 14hp to 105hp suitable for a diversity of applications on and off the golf course. In addition to its two new front mowers, Kubota will be showing its stylish GR ride-on mowers launched in 2005 and the highly manoeuvrable ZD28 zero-turn machine, with its 28hp diesel engine and 1.52m (60in) cutter deck.

Completing Kubota's exhibit at BTME 2006 will be the sensational RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle launched last summer. Powered by a 22hp diesel engine, the RTV900 has a top speed of 25mph, rugged yet smooth-riding suspension and a three-range hydrostatic transmission giving dynamic braking and an automatic power boost when climbing slopes.

Recognising that the RTV900 will be used extensively both for people and load movement, Kubota offers the vehicle with either a bench seat or individual seating, both versions suitable for two large adults held safely in place by side grab rails and seat belts. The hydraulically-tipped rear cargo box has a load capacity of 500kg (1,100lbs) and generous internal dimensions of 1.32m wide x 1.18m long x 0.29m deep (52in x 47in x 11.4in).

For more information on Kubota tractors and attachments, mowers and the RTV900 all-terrain vehicle, visit the company's exhibit at BTME 2006 or call the Kubota freephone enquiry hotline on 0800 0231111, e-mail info@kubota.co.uk or log onto www.kubota.co.uk
