saltex 2011 280Ransomes Jacobsen, a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company and one of the leading manufacturers of turf maintenance equipment worldwide, has introduced the latest additions to the Iseki TM range of compact tractors at Saltex.

The tractors have a choice of hydrostatic or manual transmission. For the hydrostatic options there are three range settings; L for mowing, M for snow blades and other attachments and H for transport or towing. The manual transmission options are available with eight forward and eight reverse gear options.

Iseki three cylinder, indirect injection, overhead valve diesel engines are used; 14.5 kW (19.4 hp) in the TM3215 and 18.9 kW (25.3 hp) in the TM3265, providing excellent performance and fuel efficiency. The hydrostatic models and TM3265 manual are supplied with double valves as standard. The TM3215 manual is supplied with a single valve and a second is available as an option.

The rear PTO has electro-hydraulic control and on the hydrostatic models there's a soft start function. All TM models have a mid-PTO suitable for mowing decks, as standard.

TH4335 002The operator platform is ISO mounted for reduced vibrations with a flat floor providing greater foot space and comfort for the operator. A rubber mat covers the entire platform, which helps reduces dust and debris reaching the operator and also reduces noise. The ergonomic operator space allows the operator to reach all controls with ease.

Finally, a new simplified direct steering mechanism increases manoeuvrability with a turning radius of only 2.4m to 2.5 m, depending upon the type of tyre fitted.
