Lloyds mowers out in front

The latest developments in front mounted hydraulic gang mowers from Lloyds & Co Letchworth Ltd. were launched at this year's BTME. With tighter mounting of the cutters to the tractor and a full electro hydraulic system this equipment this allows easy operation of all functions direct from the cab, ensuring greater flexibility of this mowing system.

When fitted to the Rasant/Aebi range gives excellent versatility to this range of systems and multi use tractors, which now be accessed via the direct Lloyds Sales Network, along with an endless range of other products which can be mounted to these machines including flails, rotary mowers, and sweepers and cleaning equipment.

Pictured is the KT50 Systems tractor fitted with the Lloyds front mounted triple outfit the units are our robust and reliable Universal Cutter which is available in 4,6 and 9 bladed cylinder options. This comes along with a choice of fixed or floating heads ensuring the outfit gives usability in every situation.

Paladin gets better presence

A full re-design of the Lloyds Paladin handles has resulted in a safer machine with more operator comfort due to the ergonomically designed Operator Presence Control (OPC).

With health & safety being one of the primary decisions when buying a machine, the new double operator presence control increases the safety level of this already highly regarded machine. The option of being able to operate the machine with either hand allows the operator much more flexibility when handling the mower, thus ensuring a higher degree of safety.

Ergonomics

The simple but very forward thinking design of the new handle, along with the ergonomic styling of the new levers and handle grips, results in a higher level of operator comfort. Ensuring all machine operations, cylinder (reel) and drive requirements sit comfortably to hand as well as easy speed adjustment of the throttle control and stop switch.

Using high quality wire and fittings the cable strength and life expectancy are greatly increased. However the simple one-piece cable on each clutch can be quickly adjusted or changed when maintenance is required ensuring minimum downtime.

The new Paladins were shown at BTME for the first time, for further details contact Clive Nottingham or Ray Potter at Lloyds and Co Letchworth Ltd Tel: 01462 683031 or e-mail sales@lloydsandco.com
