Lunar Wins Scotsturf Award
Press Release
Lunar, the new fungicide launched by Sherriff Amenity in June, has won the best new product in the fertiliser/chemical category at Scotsturf 2005.
Lunar, which is marketed by Sherriff Amenity and distributed in Scotland through Terra Firma, contains both a systemic (tebuconazole) and a translaminar (prochloraz) fungicide, with two different active ingredients using two different modes of action it gives a high level of disease control in managed amenity turf.
Because of these two unique modes of action, it has exceptional levels of disease control. Fusarium Patch (Microdochium nivale) can be effectively controlled in both curative and preventative situations.
Simon Gough of Terra Firma is pictured with the award at the Scotsturf exhibition.
