Rangers want the Hampden pitch replaced in time for the Scottish Cup Final on May 30 after another embarrassing weekend for the national stadium.

Ibrox assistant manager Ally McCoist hit out in the wake of a 3-0 semi-final success over St Mirren marred by players slipping and sliding throughout the 90 minutes. see Rest of the article on the following link:-Mail online

If Rangers are so bothered about the state of the pitrch why does the Scottish FA play the semi finals at Hampden in the first place. Big stadiums should be resverved for Finals only in my opinion.

And get less than 30,000 for the semi finals despite them being held in the same city as one of the semi finalists? However that still isnt a bad gate for amateur football though....
