Merit® Turf - Supply & Apply
Merit® Turf is a broad spectrum systemic insecticide from Bayer Environmental Science containg the active ingredient imidaclorprid.
Merit Turf has undergone extensive UK trials over the last four years and has finally been given approval by the Pesticide Safety Directorate. Merit® Turf may be new to the UK but has over 10 years proven performance in the USA. It is safe to operators and non target organisms. This makes Merit® Turf the only approved chafer grub treatment available in the UK. The product also has approval for the treatment of leatherjackets, providing dual pest control from a single application per year.
Due to the low application rate (30kg/ha), applying the product using traditional methods over large areas will prove extremely difficult. Amenity Land Solutions are able to offer Merit® Turf to customers on a Supply & Apply basis.
