An eye-catching all-weather work cab with a low level of interior sound has been introduced by Massey Ferguson as an option for its 20MD diesel utility vehicle.

Fitting neatly around the MF 20MD's standard roll-over protection structure (ROPS), the purpose-designed cab incorporates high levels of insulation to produce an interior sound level of just 86dBa. A further important feature is the large area of tinted glass, affording excellent all-round visibility while helping reduce glare and heat build-up.

Manufactured to Massey Ferguson's specifications by cab specialist, Walter Mauser, the new all-weather work cab for the MF 20MD has been designed to provide a safe, comfortable and pleasant operator environment for a full range of municipal, amenity and turf maintenance applications.

Standard cab features include an opening front glass screen for effective ventilation, front screen wash/wipe, a radio/CD player and large, full-visibility doors on both sides with two-stage gas struts giving phased controlled opening to eliminate the risk of possible damage caused by wind gusts or a heavy hand.

Options that can be specified at time of ordering include a fan-assisted cab heater able to blow warmed or ambient air, a flashing beacon and adjustable front and rear work lights to complement the existing side and head lights fitted as standard to the vehicle. All optional external lights are activated by switches fitted neatly within a panel incorporated in the front roof-lining of the work cab.

The MF 20MD utility vehicle and its new optional work cab is available now from
appointed MF dealers.
