New Chairman of AEA ATV Group

Phil Everett of Polaris Britain Ltd has been appointed as Chairman of the AEA (Agricultural Engineers Association) ATV & Side x Side Group.

Phil brings twenty-two years of experience in the ATV industry to the Association, together with his current expertise in a senior management position with Polaris who manufacture both ATVs and Side x Side (UTV) vehicles. He was also one of the founder members of the group that assisted with the setting up of EASi, the European ATV Safety Institute.

Safety being a major concern in all industries Phil thinks the ATV industry is very fortunate to have its own training and safety body.

Of his appointment he says: "it is a great honour to be representing our industry as Chairman of this group. We are constantly facing challenges both from the economy and also from a regulatory standpoint so it is a very interesting and challenging time to be taking up this role."

Phil looks forward to championing the cause of the AEA in the ATV sector. He is pictured (right) with Roger Lane-Nott, CEO of the AEA*
