Dave Rogers, 37, has been appointed Commercial Director of Turfmech Machinery, one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers of professional turf and grounds maintenance equipment.
Based at the company's offices and engineering centre in Hixon, Staffordshire, Dave Rogers' responsibilities include planning and directing all aspects of Turfmech's sales, marketing, strategic planning and new product development activities. His goal is to ensure that Turfmech remains and is recognised as the best at what it does, producing, supplying and supporting innovative products that fulfill a need while also building and leading new and established markets in the UK and around the world.
Dave Rogers brings to his new position a wealth of sales, service and technical experience gained in senior management positions within the commercial cleaning industry over the past 17 years. During that time, he developed a strong "hands-on" approach to developing and strengthening customer relationships and plans to pursue a similar style in his new role within the turf and grounds maintenance sector.
"I am looking forward greatly to meeting and talking with Turfmech customers, past, present and future," he commented. "Delivering first-class customer service has been a principal aim of mine in the past and will continue to be one of my driving forces at Turfmech. I plan to ensure that superlative service is provided fairly and consistently by the Turfmech team as a matter of course to every single customer."
