Hayter's distributor in The Netherlands has worked with Toro for nearly 60 years and is now energetically developing the market for Hayter products manufactured under the Toro brand.
Unlike in the UK, trailed gang mowers are not widely used in mainland Europe so Jean Heybroek's 70,000 euro order for two 5 unit and two 7 unit branded Toro was especially significant.
The trailed gangs will be shown for the first time in The Netherlands under the Toro brand at the Papendale show in September.
The two TM 549s have been delivered to the DSW Stadspark in Groningen. This is a social workshop which trains injured and handicapped people to prepare them for work. The new mowing division has started with a contract to maintain 40 football pitches. Jean Heybroek's director, Menno Bloch said, "Our work in distributing and supporting Toro machines has been a major factor in our growth, particularly over the past ten years. We now look forward to even more growth based on the products made in the UK Hayter factory."
