Ransomes Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has launched an additional range of longer lasting tines for its GA24, GA30 and GA60 aerators. Branded as DuraTineTM, this new range which is available in XL and XLT versions, uses special alloy steels and strict manufacturing tolerances to provide the ultimate long-lasting tine.

Both versions have a Trivalent coating, which prohibits corrosion and produces improved hole smoothness and appearance, while the XLT features a carbide tip with greatly reduced wear properties. Solid, hollow and side eject options are available with lengths varying from 102mm to 140mm.

Manuel Ruiz, Product Manager at the Ipswich-based turf equipment manufacturer said,"Hole quality and productivity have always been the prime objective for our aeration products and we have now produced what we feel is the very best in their class.

We know that DuraTines can last up to four times longer than our Original series tines and as much as 75% longer than the premium offering from our competitors."
