New hire company Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental has opted for a selection of turf maintenance equipment including six of the latest award-winning Ransomes HR 3300T out-front rotary mowers, manufactured at the Ipswich factory of Ransomes Jacobsen.
Acacia, who launched their new business in January 2008 and are based at Henfield in West Sussex, specialise in professional grounds care rental and have purchased the Ransomes Jacobsen equipment, which also includes five Ransomes Highway ride-on triplex mowers from local dealer Harper and Eede.
The Ransomes HR3300T is a completely new machine designed and built at Ipswich and launched at the Saltex Show in September 2007, where it won the Turf Professional Best New Product award.
Dale Hudson, Operations Director at Acacia said,
"After careful consideration of the machinery available and close consultation with my service and sales staff, we opted for the Ransomes Jacobsen brand. We were extremely happy with the quality of the product produced in Ipswich and the high level of after sales support from our supplier Harper and Eede. This new rotary has raised the bar in the contractor and local authority market, giving second to none performance whilst also offering the highest level of operator comfort and lowest cost of ownership."
