New Holland's Groundcare Product Specialist, Steve Basnett, is inviting BTME delegates to find out how new emission regulations will affect them at the forthcoming BTME exhibition in Harrogate.

As part of the Continue to Learn programme of events over the three day show from 24 - 26 January 2012, Steve Basnett will give a 30-minute seminar, looking at Tier 4A emission regulations which will come into force for engines ranging from 70hp - 175hp at the beginning of the year. Tier 4A emissions regulations became a legal requirement in 2011 for medium and heavy-duty engines above 174hp. He will also explain the New Holland ECOBlue™ SCR solution.

As the Clean Energy leader, New Holland has been pioneering the use of biodiesel in its machinery since 2006. The brand developed the award winning NH2™ tractor - the first to use hydrogen fuel cells - exploring ways to reach zero emissions and energy independence in the future. For biomass production New Holland offers a comprehensive range of highly efficient machines and implements ranging from self-propelled forage harvesters to large square balers, combines, tractors and telehandlers.

With local authorities and businesses all aiming to lower carbon emissions, New Holland's innovative products provide cost-effective sustainable solutions.

The company's seminar will provide an informative session on the forthcoming regulations and how groundcare professionals can tackle the requirements. It will be free to enter and takes place on 24 January 2012 from 3.45pm - 4.15pm.

As well as the seminar, New Holland will also be exhibiting its Groundcare product range, including a variety of compact tractors and mowers, which are versatile enough to be used by groundcare professionals across the entire sector, from maintaining sports pitches to snow ploughing.
