Simon Catchpole has joined Complete Weed Control after purchasing its Kent franchise from successful Thames Valley operator John Allen.

Based in Tunbridge Wells, he'll cover most of the Kent area including Maidstone, Canterbury and Sevenoaks as well as parts of East Sussex.
"I've spent the last few years working away from home on a regular basis, but with two young children it became increasingly difficult," explained Simon.

"I was looking for a new challenge which would enable me to work close to home and after browsing the BFA website and visiting a franchise exhibition, I came across Complete Weed Control. The company has a great track record. They've a reputation for being innovative and have a network of long-standing, successful franchisees across the UK who have provided me with support and guidance. I enjoy being outside and am looking forward to working with new and existing customers at a diverse range of sites."

Formed in 1972, Complete Weed Control is the largest specialist weed control and vegetation management company in the UK.

It celebrates its 25th year of franchising in 2007, making it one of the longest established franchise businesses in the country. There's currently a network of 48 franchisees delivering spraying and application services nationwide to a diverse range of clients including local authorities, leisure and amenity areas, golf courses and public utilities.

Contact Simon at CWC (Kent) on 01892 723041 or email simon.catchpole@cwc.uk.com.
