Delegates to BTME this month were the first to be given the opportunity of free digital soil thermometers and pH meters from Scots UK Professional. The equipment is offered on purchases of the popular Scotts turf fungicides Heritage and Daconil until the end of May 2005, and coincides with the introduction of a new 100g pack for Heritage which also features an integral measuring system.

The new pack option reflects the efficiency of the product against Fusarium and Take-All Patch. Heritage is so effective that only a very small amount of active ingredient is actually needed - for many turf managers with smaller areas of turf, such as bowling greens, the standard 500g container is unnecessarily large. To address the small volumes involved, the new 100g pack comes with an integral measuring system capable of dispensing the exact volume of concentrate required.
