New premises for Yorkshire dealer
Press Release
Yorkshire based John Deere commercial & consumer equipment dealer Bob Wild Grass Machinery has moved to new premises at White Lee, Mytholmroyd, near Hebden Bridge on the outskirts of Halifax.
The new site has a modern, fully equipped workshop, offices and a large showroom to display a full range of professional and domestic machines. These include everything from walk-behind mowers, chippers/shredders and chainsaws to lawn and compact tractors, Gator utility vehicles and rotary and cylinder mowers, in addition to second hand and contract hire equipment.
The move has been brought about by a steady rise in business and an increase in customers and machinery sales since the company was formed in 1997, before being signed to the John Deere dealer network at the end of 1998. Bob Wild Grass Machinery now has 12 full-time staff across the service, parts and sales departments, with sales covering west and south Yorkshire.
The company also supports John Deere's new Turf Tech apprentice engineering programme, with service technician Shane Brayshaw having completed his third year of training, and Ayden Harrison starting his final year.
"Our policy is to supply the right machine for the job, whatever type of customer you are, from domestic users to Premier League football clubs," says dealer principal Bob Wild (pictured). "We pride ourselves on a personal service, free on-site advice and fast, reliable after-sales service and parts delivery.
"The new premises are ideal, particularly as they include a loading area and plenty of customer parking, which we didn't have before. We look forward to doing even more business with a full range of customers, from homeowners to golf and sports clubs, contractors and local authorities."
