Joe Turner - New Regional Sales Manager at Ransomes Jacobsen
Joe Turner has been appointed to the position of Regional Sales Manager at Ransomes Jacobsen, the Ipswich based turf maintenance equipment manufacturer. Reporting to Alan Prickett, UK Sales Manager, he will have responsibility for the Ransomes Jacobsen dealers in a territory encompassing the North West of England, the West Midlands, the South West and Wales.
Mr Turner joined the professional turf care industry in 1980 as a technical apprentice with Turner International and spent 10 years with the company in various demonstration and sales roles, both here and in the USA. He brings a wide range of experience to the management team having been an Area Sales Manager with Toro for six years, Sales and Marketing Manager with Watermation Sprinklers and Controls for two years and most recently as Sales Manager with Bernhard Grinders. He lives near Redditch in Worcestershire.
Commenting on his appointment Alan Prickett said, "Joe joins us at a particularly buoyant time and his experience within the UK turf industry will certainly add strength to our dealer management team. I am delighted to welcome him on board and I'm sure that he will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow the business, going forward."
