Broadwood International, manufacturer and distributor of Wessex products, has launched twelve new products specifically designed for the ATV market. As one of the UK's oldest-established manufacturers of ATV equipment, with over 15 years experience in building top quality products for ATV's, Wessex has the know-how and technical expertise that its market-leading position merits.
"We build products that we'd like to use ourselves" comments Bill Browning, Broadwood's marketing manager. "There's a lot of me-too products in the industry, and having spent more years designing and building ATV kit than a lot of companies combined, we've proved what does and doesn't work. Most ATV users put a lot of time and careful thought into their purchase, so it pays to use quality implements with the ATV. After all, you wouldn't invest in a Ferrari and fit cheap-and-nasty tyres to it, would you?!"
The new Wessex products include a five-strong line-up of trailers, incorporating a dedicated livestock trailer, a road-legal trailer for transporting ATV's, high- and low-sided trailers, and a tipping trailer that has a high tipping profile - so no shovelling out the last part of the load.
Additionally there is a stock feeder / snacker for feeding out sheep nuts and other animal feed, two ménage graders, two new drag harrows and two new land rollers. With safety paramount in design of Wessex products, end-users will be interested to note that all Wessex ATV trailers incorporate a swivelling ball-hitch. Another useful feature, particularly when one bears in mind the rough terrain these products are used on, is that all the Wessex ATV trailers are fitted with bolt-on stub axles, minimising the cost of having to repair a bent axle.
"These new products really do cement our position at the forefront of the ATV implement market," says Mr Browning. "Where we may have previously had a gap in the range, this signals a big leap forward for the Wessex brand and I'm excited about the opportunities it creates for us and for our dealers."
