Ipswich, Suffolk, UK (November 25, 2010) The Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the public housing authority for the country, has recently purchased a fleet of nine Iseki ride-on mowers from local Ransomes Jacobsen dealer, Broderick's (NI) Ltd. Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company.
Andrew Ferguson, general manager at Broderick's depot in Newtonwabbey, Co Antrim said, "We're obviously delighted with this contract as its conquest business for us, but equally satisfying is the fact that we won the business after a direct head-to-head comparison against competitor machines.
"The Housing Executive's Direct Labour organisation was looking for a four-wheel drive power unit and a rear discharge deck, but they were impressed by the Iseki's capability and the quality of finish left by the cutting deck. The build quality and the strength of the deck also convinced them that this was the right product for their needs."
