STRI is holding a series of one day cricket seminars throughout 2007. The topic 'Advances in Cricket Performance Management' looks at the future of cricket management and new innovations, including STRI's recently launched A.S.H.E.S. a performance testing service for cricket. The programme will interest all those who manage cricket facilities at all levels.

Presenters include independent agronomists from the UK, New Zealand and Australia, research scientists and industry experts.

Topics include a summary from the results of the ECB and STRI research programmes, information on STRI's pitch development work at the Kensington Oval in Barbados in preparation for the 2007 World Cup, feedback on the successes and experiences of the STRI / ECB CCDF club development work as well as presentations on the worldwide management of cricket facilities at the highest levels.

The first of the regional seminars is being held at Lords Cricket Ground on Friday February 9th 2007. Cost for the day including lunch is £72 plus VAT

For further details and booking contact Amy Crooks at STRI head office on 01274 567201 or e-mail amy.crooks@stri.co.uk . Full details of the programme and booking forms can be found at www.stri.co.uk

er... Not really a 'series of regional seminars'.
More a National seminar since only the 1 event is listed on the website.

If a 'series' is announced, then surely a 'series of dates' would be published? Anyone who doesn't wish to travel to London and is waiting for a seminar in their 'region' may be waiting...

£72 ex vat looks to be a precisely costed figure. What does the attendee receive for £72 (other than lunch) please?

This is not a cricket seminar , just an advertising stunt from the STRI, and an expensive one at that.
Will it be another episode of gobaldigook from the professors?
