Hoebridge Golf Centre's Course Manager, Terence Edwards has recently been awarded the title 'Course Manager of the Year 2007' by owners and operators Burhill Golf and Leisure Limited. This accolade is achieved by excelling in all areas of golf course management with the prime focus being on the overall quality of the final product - the golf course. To thank him for his hard work and dedication to Hoebridge Golf Centre, Terence will be enjoying a trip to Orlando, Florida next year to attend the annual conference of the GCSAA (Golf Course Superintendents Association of America) in association with Ransomes Jacobsen.

"Hoebridge Golf Centre has established itself as the best quality pay and play golf course in the area and we are very proud of the work Terence and his team have done for us." said Colin Mayes, Chief Executive of Burhill Golf and Leisure. "Course quality and condition are paramount to the Burhill group and all course managers are assessed regularly by our Group Course Superintendent, Hugh Knowles."

"I'm thrilled to have one this award and I am looking forward to going to America next year." Said Terence Edwards. "With three golf courses to look after, Hoebridge Golf Centre is a challenging place to work and I could not have achieved this without the support of a great team and General Manager."

For further information contact Andy De Martin, Hoebridge Golf Centre on 01483 735331.
