Following cancellation of the orginal trip due to bad weather, a sea fishing day, open to all Pitchcare members has been organised for Saturday 8th of September, departing from Rhyl.
We currently have one chartered boat available:
Wrecking - Involves 12hr + deep sea trip, specimen species.
Approximate cost £40.
Tackle hire is available on the day for £5, cooking facilities on board, food and snacks will be provided by Pitchcare.
Subject to good weather, a range of fish from cod, pollack, tope, mackerel, bream, conger eels and more can be expected.
We will be departing on the Jensen Mark II boat with skipper Tony Parry.
The offer is open to anyone who would enjoy spending a day networking with Groundsmen, Greenkeepers and industry professionals. A great opportunity for a team motivation day or advertisers to network with customers. Award for best catch presented by Dave Saltman.
In the event of bad weather causing postponement, an altenative of course or trout fishing will take place. The last trip to private pools in Cannock resulted in plenty of carp, barbel, tench and bream with a superb 18lb Mirror Carp being landed by Andy Birch.
Limited availability- potential to book further boats, should demand suffice. Call the office on 01902 824392 to book.
