Polaris has introduced the world's first 4 x 4 electric utility vehicle, the all-new RANGER EV electric Side-by-Side. Sharing the same chassis as the Ranger 400 it has many of the features of its full size counterparts:

On-Demand True All-Wheel Drive with VersaTrac, Independent Rear Suspension, high ground clearance and the longest suspension travel in its class.

The Ranger EV features the largest battery pack in the industry (11.5kW) and the longest range of any electric midsize. It's built for clean and quiet operation with a 30 hp electric motor , 35-45 mile range, an electrifying 25mph top speed and two hours of riding time between charges.

Perfect for any uses where silent running is a real bonus: estate and Local Authority work, groundscare, horticulture, golf course, equestrian, the list is endless. For sensitive terrain the Ranger EV has Versa Trac turf mode which unlocks the rear differential giving one wheel, rear wheel drive to prevent damage and to better navigate tight areas.

The unit features three modes: High for speed, Low for towing and hauling and Max for maximum range. When the going gets tough the On-Demand All Wheel Drive kicks in for performance you wouldn't expect of an electric vehicle, taking muddy fields and rough terrain in its stride.

There is 567kg (1,250lb) towing capacity and a 226.7 kg (500lb) Lock and Ride cargo box. The 48-volt AC induction motor provides the high performance with low maintenance and is charged using a standard socket.

The Ranger EV comes with a certified Roll-Over Protection Structure and offers 25.4 cm (10 inch) ground clearance. Here is a Side-by- Side All-Wheel Drive vehicle that never needs fuel, requires very little maintenance, works harder and gives a smoother ride than any other in its class. You couldn't ask for more.
