Portable sports arenas chosen by Chelsea FC
Active Leisure Contracts, the UK Company behind a new range of portable sports arenas hopes it will encourage more children to get active following the sale of one of it's systems to Chelsea FC.
The Funtec™ court system allows you to construct a sports arena at the venue of your choice without the need for planning permission and will be used by Chelsea's youngsters at the new training academy in Cobham, Surrey.
Tough, lightweight boards fit together with intergrated goals to create courts which can be installed onto new or existing natural or synthetic grass surfaces. Surrounding nets and roof complete the effect giving a first class training facility.
"One advantage is that the pitches are enclosed, allowing the ball to be continually in play" said Neil Bath, Head of Chelsea's new training academy. "More touches on the ball and being continually involved in the game gives better ball control and fitter players and with the purchase of another system next season, we hope to improve even further".
The full range of portable and permanent Funtec™ court systems are available throughout the UK via Active Leisure Contracts.
A demo court is also available for hire and special events.
